ZrTe3 is a semimetal, partially gapped charge density waves (CDW) below ~63K and a superconductor (Tc ~2K) . The layers are stacked together via van der Waals interactions and can be exfoliated into thin 2D layers. Zirconium Tritelluride belongs to the group-IV transition metal trichalcogenides.
