As2Te3 (Arsenicum Telluride)

As2Te3 (alpha phase) is a semiconductor (~0.2-0.3 eV), thermoelectric material and a topological insulator. The layers are stacked together via van der Waals interactions and can be exfoliated into thin 2D layers. α-As2Te3 belongs to the group-15 metalloid trichalcogenides.

The Arsenicum Telluride crystals have a typical lateral size of ~0.6-0.8 cm. The crystals are rectangular shaped and have a metallic appearance.
